Inter-semester competition „Kachelcross“:
Five weeks to develop an automated guided vehicle, which can load and unload heavy objects itself and transport them over a distance of at least 20m. Besides that, creating a fictive team branding and searching for sponsors.
Group project of 7 members

The Lookslike
A "lookslike" encloses a real use case and shows how it could look like as a real object.
This AGV is a postal robot that can deliver parcels from door to door and provides access to the customer via QR code. Great care was taken to create a calm and friendly optical atmosphere in order to accustom the user to the technical novelty and the replacement of human personnel.
The Workslike
A "workslike" refers to the functional prototype.
For the competition day, the workslike of each team had to load, transport and unload two water crates of 24 1L bottles over a 20m distance. With a given budget and the support of sponsors, this prototype could be assembled with the necessary technology. Thanks to Knipex and Fischer at this point! The power unit consists of drilling machines. To be able to drive straight we used infrared sensors  and a white taped line on the ground. The AGV drives under a station on which the water is located. It raises its platform, drives along its taped route and drops the load carefully at its final destination.
